Minority Residential Schools in Bihar are an initiative of the Minority Welfare Department to provide quality education in a residential environment to students from minority communities. The schools aim to ensure equal opportunities for both boys and girls by following the NCERT/SCERT curriculum from Class 6 to 12. Along with regular academics, students are encouraged to participate in cultural programs, sports, and co-curricular activities for their all-round development. The schools also provide free hostel facilities, meals, books, uniforms, and scholarships, ensuring that every child receives education without financial burden. Our mission is to nurture knowledge, discipline, and values among students, empowering them to become confident, skilled, and responsible citizens of society.
Introduce schemes to promote accelerated socio-economic development of minorities, provide educational concessions, implement schemes for women and children, offer training and employment opportunities, and support entrepreneurial ventures for sustainable growth.
Minority Welfare Department was established in 1991 to provide financial, social and academic development of minority communities like Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Jain, Buddhist and Parsi communities for their all-round development.
