Mukhyamantri Alpsankhyak Chhatravas Anudaan Yojna

Under this scheme, students studying residing in minority hostels are given the benefit of hostel grant at the rate of Rs. 1000.00 (one thousand) per month per student.

Alpsankhyak Muslim Mahila Parityaqta / Talaqshuda hetu Sahayata Yojna

Under this scheme, the State Government provides financial assistance (Rs 25,000/-) to minority Muslim abandoned/divorced women to strengthen their economic condition and make them self-reliant.

Hostel Admission

Must belong to the minority community. He must be studying in a recognized institute/school/college/university or recognized technical institute in the district he is applying for.

Minority Schools

Minority schools in Bihar have been set up to serve religious and linguistic minority communities, with one of the major initiatives being the Bihar State Minority Residential School Scheme (BSAAVY), which provides free residential education to minority students from Class 9 to Class 12.

About Bihar e-Kalyan

Minority Welfare Department was established in 1991 to provide financial, social and academic development of minority communities like Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Jain, Buddhist and Parsi communities for their all-round development. Since its inception, the department has been working for the upliftment of minority communities along with linguistic minorities. Currently there is a Directorate and a corporation under departmental establishment.
